Create Your Personal Style in 6 Weeks

Here’s what one woman has to say about how “Create Your Personal Style in 6 weeks” completely changed her relationship with her wardrobe and made getting dressed SO much easier!

When you open your closet door to get dressed do you scream in horror, grab the first thing you can find and quickly close the door or try really hard to open the door as little as possible because it’s so disheartening to try to make sense of what’s in there?

I hear from women all the time who are trying to figure out how to dress for their body type, how to find stores that sell what they want to buy within their budget, how to accessorize to feel special and how to understand what THEIR personal style is.

Mostly, they just feel frustrated and keep wearing the same old thing because nothing else seems to work.

If this sounds like you and you’re ready for a change, you’re in for a treat!

The ‘Create Your Personal Style in 6 Weeks’ course is for you if:

  • You wear the same thing (and not something you love!) pretty much every day and you’re bored.
  • You want to reflect who you are on the inside through the clothing choices you make, but don’t know how.
  • You feel frumpy but don’t know how to fix it.
  • You have a closet full of clothes you don’t wear and have no idea if you should get rid of them or repurpose them somehow.
  • You want getting dressed to be a breeze whether you’re running to the grocery store, attending a business meeting or meeting a friend for dinner (or perhaps getting dressed for date night!).
  • You’re tired of your overfilled, under-utilized closet creating even more stress in your life! You want to have a simple, wearable, happy-to-get dressed wardrobe but somehow, no matter what you try, that never happens.

The ‘Create Your Personal Style in 6 Weeks’ course is NOT for you if:

  • You don’t care how you dress or living in your workout clothes makes you perfectly happy.
  • You want a Fairy Godmother to come to your closet, wave a wand and have it all be perfect without having to do anything (we all wish that were true!).
  • You don’t think who you are on the inside matters at all when you get dressed and believe it’s simply a matter of understanding your body shape. (We are not specifically covering body shapes in the course because focusing on basic body shapes often confuses people more than it explains and we could do an entire program JUST on body shapes. But, you are invited to ask specific questions about body shapes or whether a specific item works for your body and I will answer them for you during the class.)
  • You just want someone to tell you where to shop. (At the end of the course, you will receive a highly curated list of shopping resources, but we will not specifically address where to shop during the classes unless it comes up in a question.)
  • You think how you look doesn’t matter.

Let’s change all that now!!

Here’s what Marti from San Antonio, TX has to say about the class: “Ginger’s program is brilliant! She created a system that starts with mindset and ends with feeling beautiful and more confident in my wardrobe. Ginger does a great job of addressing individual concerns in a group format. I’m so happy that I invested in her program…I wish I did it 20 years ago!! Thanks Ginger!”

As you can see, in 6 weeks together we can make big headway in solving your fashion dilemmas and inspiring you as you purposefully create a wardrobe you enjoy wearing. I’ll be here to support you every step of the way.

You will be well on your way to…

  • A closet that contains only clothes you love (and that make you look FABULOUS).
  • A closet that promotes a sense of well-being in the morning because you’ve removed the things that don’t work for you and repurposed the things that do.
  • Enjoying your mornings because you feel energized and inspired rather than stressed and discouraged as you get dressed every day.

AND you understand better how to keep this momentum going! That’s the best part. This is just the beginning. EVERYTHING you learn in this course will serve you for years to come.

You’ll have me, Ginger Burr, live in every class and with you every step of the way. For over 30 years I’ve been guiding women to discover their personal style and dress in a way that brings them joy…every day!

Join me as I help you create your own personal style transformation!

What will we cover?

LESSON #1: Uncovering Your Inner Beauty Style

— (a fun exercise will be sent in advance).
If you dream of feeling more confident about what ‘your style’ is, this is the powerful and empowering missing element. I suspect you’re hiding in a wardrobe you don’t love because you don’t know how to recognize and reflect who you are through your clothing choices. That’s why you’re here! This class is all about uncovering what makes you special…what make you you.

Uncovering your inner beauty is one of the most important tools to help guide your choices and it will prove to be invaluable in helping you create a look you love. It is a foundation component in building your wardrobe and this concept will be woven throughout all the classes.

We’ll explore the many ways you can express who you are through your wardrobe choices. As Stefanie J. shares, “About twenty minutes into the first class I mentally threw out all the “rules” and “tips” from fashion magazines that I had absorbed over the years. I suddenly understood that none of them were helpful because they didn’t apply to me as an individual – both my body and appearance, and who I am on the inside. Ginger helped me learn to dress for who I am, and then gave me the tools and know-how for building up my unique wardrobe.”

LESSON #2: Identifying YOUR Best Basics.

Having a good foundation on which to build your wardrobe is critical. Without it, you’ll feel pulled in a million directions or discouraged when things don’t work together. Understanding what basics work for you and streamlining your approach will make getting dressed and shopping SO much easier. You’ll have a plan…a strategy based on a powerful foundation.

We’ll walk through how you establish YOUR best basics—because it varies for everyone. As you fine tune this practice, you will use this information to clear out your closet, refocus your shopping strategy and get dressed with ease.

Sarah Bernd says, “Great class last night! I feel like I’m getting a road map – a very personalized road map.”

LESSON #3: How to Add Visual Interest to Your Outfit.

One of the reasons women don’t love their wardrobe is they find it boring, ho-hum and even frumpy. Part of the reason for this is often because the outfit lacks any visual interest. Basics and classic styling are good, but too much of a good thing can also feel boring and lackluster.

Let’s explore some key ways to add visual interest to an outfit. Since we will address accessories in a later class, we’ll focus here on prints, in particular and touch on texture.

If you find choosing a print mystifying or overwhelming and often come home empty handed, there’s a solution for that:

I’ll introduce the 5 ways to identify your best prints so you can feel more empowered the next time you shop.

Learn how to add visual interest by including texture in your wardrobe:

  • How do you choose your best texture?
  • How much texture is too much?
  • What are the different kinds of texture?
  • What’s the easiest way to add texture to an outfit without feeling like it’s too much?

Bring a print or texture to the class so you can practice and ask questions while we’re together (or send a picture of one in advance). Here’s what Nancy Korn says about this class, “It was fun to use your ‘visual interest’ guidelines as a framework to review all of the patterns in my wardrobe. It suddenly became clear why there were some patterns that I loved and others that I hardly ever wore!”

LESSON #4: Finding the Perfect Shoes to Complete Your Outfit.

Shoes can make or break an outfit and with so many different pant styles and skirt lengths out there how do you know what to pair with what? Add to that the frustration of finding comfortable shoes in a heel height (or flats) that you love wearing and the problem is magnified.

We’ll talk about:

  • Which shoes work best with which pant styles?
  • How do you create good balance and a harmonious flow?
  • How do your inner beauty words affect your shoe choices?
  • Does the color of your shoes matter?
  • Can flats work with any outfit?

I will show you lots of examples of shoe before and afters so you can see the difference shoes can make in creating harmony in an outfit and so you can start creating your own shoe list (which ones to get rid of and what you need more of)!

You can send me examples you’re struggling with before the class and I’ll help you – as well as ask specific questions during the class. Sharon Palmer has found this to be very helpful as she mentions here: “I love the before/after pictures you use in the class. It’s so helpful to hear your explanations as to why the before picture didn’t really work that well for the particular woman and why the after picture did. I’ve learned how to look at outfits in a whole new way just from that part of the classes.”

LESSON #5: How to Accessorize Like a Pro.

Wearing jewelry is one of the easiest ways to add visual interest to an outfit AND to make an outfit look different. Yet I often hear from women that they avoid jewelry or wear the same thing day after day because they aren’t sure how to make the most of what they have.

Jewelry is an extremely versatile and valuable part of your wardrobe and knowing how to select pieces with confidence and wear your jewelry with joy will make getting dressed even more satisfying!

How do you know what jewelry works with which outfits? The key factors in selecting jewelry is to complement an outfit and we’ll address how to do that with specific examples. And you are invited to bring jewelry to the class to ask questions and determine how it works based on what I share.

Lori from California is having fun putting together outfits and accessorizing them: “I put together an outfit and was shocked when everything came together so quickly and nicely! I put that pink sweater you liked with a scarf, something I would have not done before. Also, I had picked up some silver “button” earrings and looked in the mirror and said “Wow, who knew that would look good?  Uh… Ginger!”  I smiled, chuckled to myself, and went out the door feeling good (and grateful) in my newly created outfit. What a wonderful experience!”

LESSON #6: Putting It All Together: From Separates to Outfits

Now that you have the tools you need to create outfits that make your heart sing, it’s time to pull it together and watch the magic happen. I will walk you through how to take everything we’ve addressed from the previous five classes and create a variety of capsule wardrobes. You’re encouraged to practice this and share your successes, your new questions and any stuck points that pop up so you can continue to ‘create your personal style’ in the weeks, months and years to come!

In this lesson we will cover:

  • Walk you through the steps of creating a capsule wardrobe using the tools you’ve learned in classes #1-#5.
  • Share several examples of capsule wardrobes with a variety of styles, colors, lifestyles and self-expression.
  • Go more deeply into how your inner beauty words dramatically affect your wardrobe choices. Focusing on some of the more challenging words to express (this is invaluable!).
  • Plus a few surprises!
  • Feel more confident branching out to explore new styles while staying true to who you are (this is a vital part of your personal style journey).
  • Receive an invaluable checklist that will keep you from making fashion mistakes.

Christine Flanagan is excited to make new great choices: “After taking your class, I can see where I have wasted money in the past, buying things that weren’t fitting for me. It’s been an eye-opening experience. I can move forward now with knowledge and confidence. I really appreciate all that you share in your zoom classes. Very insightful!”

Two very special benefits of being in the class:

  • If you have not already had a personalized color palette made, you will receive $50 off (using a special coupon code) if you choose to do a color analysis.
  • This is big! You can book private one-on-one’s with Ginger to answer style and wardrobe questions, go more deeply into your wardrobe, refine your inner beauty words, have her help you with online shopping suggestions, etc. You can do as many 1:1’s as you’d like between the start of the class and up to 6 weeks after the last class. This is a very SPECIAL benefit because someone cannot go to the website and book a 1:1. And it gets even better. You get a very special price ($195) instead of $300 for anyone not in the class. Please note, you must be in the class to schedule a private session and the 1:1 can be done virtually or in Ginger’s home studio if you live locally.

At the end of the class you will receive a comprehensive Guidebook. It’s CHOCK FULL of everything we covered in the 6-week class. You’ll see step-by-step details of everything we addressed in the classes including:
  • Every check list and worksheet.
  • Every link to a special ‘catalogue’ of suggestions to illustrate our points.
  • Every additional video for things like scarf tying, etc.
  • Links to handy tools.
  • The ‘Resource List.’
  • A glossary of terms we used (although I suspect they are all familiar to you now).
  • Every class in great detail with screenshots from each topic and supporting information about the information we covered.
The 50-page guidebook will inspire you to review what you’ve been practicing and maybe even remind you of concepts you’ve forgotten about. And, it can be a great reminder to go back and watch some of the videos from your class again to get re-inspired or take your wardrobe to the next level. Here’s what Stefanie J. says about it: “Wow, what a wonderful gift that appeared in my inbox! It is so nice to have all the course materials in one place for each reference and reminders. The layout is beautiful – and, equally, easy to navigate. I can’t wait to read through the book over the weekend to refresh my style and wardrobe planning. Thank you so much for creating this valuable post-course guidebook to keep us anchored!”
Watch your new wardrobe unfold with more joy and ease than ever before. This is exactly what happened for Nancy from California says: “The ‘Create Your Personal Style in 6 Weeks’ Masterclass was incredibly valuable. I didn’t think it would be helpful, but identifying my Inner Beauty Words gave me insight into my wardrobe in a brand new way. Deciding if clothes are right for me is much easier now, and the personalized feedback I received on my outfits during the class allowed me to apply what I was learning in a way that was tailored to me. I went in believing I would learn some wardrobe tips and tricks, but I came out with so much more – and I had a great time doing it!”

Where do you want your wardrobe to be 6 weeks from now?

  1. Do you still want to struggle every day to get dressed and still not feel delighted with the results once you choose an outfit? Or,
  2. Do you want to make your morning dressing experience feel lighter, easier and more satisfying?

If you chose #2, then join me in this special Masterclass: “How to Create Your Personal Style in 6 Weeks” and begin to change your experience of getting dressed right now. And, you can have a similar experience to Diane McKay: “I have LOVED the class!! The context and the examples you provide along the way are super helpful,” or Martha who says, I am learning a lot through your class. A LOT!!”

Thank you SO much for making this video. It’s fantastic!! It is very clear and every question is answered as it goes along. It answers so many questions I’ve had… how to get more of a “glow”, how to do the brows (I never in a million years would have thought of the technique you use) and how to apply that tricky eye-liner! It’s so generous of you to let us see you with a “naked” face 🙂 … and to share these tips and techniques! I’ve only watched the video once so far. I took notes, and I now need to purchase a few products, but I’m going to watch it again first. Everyone is going to love this!!
